With an unwavering spirit of excellence and professionalism, the PAF has carved yet another golden chapter in its history by securing two prestigious awards at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025 held in the United Kingdom — one of the world’s most significant air shows.
The recently inducted JF-17 Thunder Block-III made a striking debut, capturing global attention not only for its advanced capabilities but also for its symbolic significance. The aircraft clinched the coveted ‘Spirit of the Meet’ Trophy — a respected honour awarded to the aircraft that best captures the ethos and dynamism of the event. Simultaneously, the PAF’s C-130H Hercules, adorned in a visually stunning ‘Eyes in the Skies’ livery, was bestowed with the ‘Concours d’Elegance’ Trophy, recognising it as the best-maintained and most aesthetically presented aircraft. These accolades are a direct reflection of high standards, attention to detail and dedication maintained by PAF personnel at every level.Such recognition on an international platform reinforces what Pakistanis have always known — that their air force is among the finest in the world. Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu rightly stated that these awards are a testament to the PAF’s professionalism, technical prowess and relentless commitment to excellence.
