Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday said that the opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has reached its logical end and opposition parties are reaping what they sowed.
During a meeting with PM’s aide Malik Amin and other members of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) here on Saturday, Usman Buzdar said that like members of Punjab Assembly, MNAs are also his colleagues and assured them of solving issues of their constituencies on priority basis.
CM Punjab said that he is wholeheartedly fulfilling his duties. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan will achieve its goals as the government has taken several steps for public good in a short period of time, he added.
Usman Buzdar further said that public has rejected elements that do negative politics and urged PDM to shun politics of ‘unrest’. He said that elected representatives have been consulted in all development projects.
Resolving the problems of the constituencies and timely completion of ongoing development schemes is the top priority of the government, said Usman Buzdar.
He said that a separate development package has been chalked out for each district and I have started visiting the districts.
I will soon visit Faisalabad and Attock he asserted. He further maintained that PTI government has rectified the faults and shortcomings of the previous rulers.
He said that the national resources were got waste in the self-exhibitory projects in the past by ignoring the basic problems of the people.
PTI government is focused on resolving the problems of the common man as it believes in the composite development of all areas.
Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar said that the provincial government will complete all the ongoing development projects of South Punjab on priority basis.
The chief minister was talking to media during his visit to Multan on Saturday.
He said that the country has been put back on the track of development due to prudent economic policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The chief minister said that the PTI set an example by bringing reforms in various departments.
Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad demise of wife of senior journalist, columnist and anchorperson Saleem Bukhari.
He extended heartfelt sympathies and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
