Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said on Thursday, that opposition parties are celebrating black day not against the government but in remembrance of their misdeeds.
In a statement he said that
positive new change has occurred in the political scenario of Pakistan on July 25, 2018 when the people wrote a new history with their votes. The people have broken away the idols of corruption with the power of their votes.
He maintained that the elements celebrating the so-called day have had played havoc with the country and added that the corrupt cabal has been fully exposed.
The opposition has lost its residual credibility, he added. The opponents should remember that the people have rejected them on July 25, 2018 and would do so in future, as well.
It is a reality that the rejected elements are only worried about saving their looted money and the hue and cry of the opposition leaders is, in fact, a cry of the thieves.
By the grace of Almighty Allah, the PTI government has fulfilled the mandate given by voters on July 25, 2018 and the people are fully conscious who would not be deceived by the opposition, the Chief Minister concluded.
Punjab government to provide better facilities at bus stands: The Punjab government has decided to improve the standard of facilities at bus stands across the province. In this regard, the Chief Minister has issued directions to the Secretary Transport that facilities should be provided on priority basis along with bringing necessary improvements in cleanliness arrangements.
Similarly, clean drinking water, lights, fans and clean toilets should also be available to the passengers in waiting areas.
He directed that buses should be parked at bus stands as their parking on roads disturbs the flow of traffic. He further directed to take legal action against the vehicles coming out on roads without fitness certificates.
The buses should be parked at their respective bus stand as their parking on roads disturbs the flow of traffic.
He directed that implementation on the devised SOPs should be ensured by the transport owners and no pressure should be accepted in this regard. Similarly, necessary renovation of bus stands should be done and conspicuous change should be visible to the passengers, concluded the Chief Minister.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed to implement the SOPs devised for early disposal of rainwater and directed the administration, WASA and concerned officials to early complete water disposal from low-lying areas.
The concerned officials should also remain available in the field till the completion of task so that the people should not face any difficulty in their movement during rains. Similarly, the flow of traffic should also be ensured, he added.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of death of girls due to sub-standard drink in an adjacent village of Arifwala and sought a report from Commissioner Sahiwal.
