Operation against encroachments continues

Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Sundas Irshad has directed the officers of District Administration, Municipal Committees and Markets Committees to continue operation cleanup against encroachment indiscriminately and to improve cleanliness in streets and bazaars of the city whereas anti-encroachments teams be appointed in two shifts so that encroachments be removed from congested areas of the city for smoothly flow of traffic.

She Issued these directions while addressing a meeting of Municipal Officers of District Council and Municipal Committees held to review crackdown on encroachments and standard of cleanliness. ADCR Imiaz Ali Baig, Chief Officer District Council Shahaz Akhtar, Chief Officer MC Pindi Bhattian and Sukheki Ikram Ullah Sindhu attended the meeting. While expressing her dissatisfaction over crackdown on encroachments and standard of cleanliness, she directed the officers to remove pushcarts standing on roads, streets.—Our Correspondent
