Prime Minister Imran Khan will officially inaugurate the round-the-clock opening of the border crossing at Torkham between Pakistan and Afghanistan today (Saturday).
While the While KP government has completed all arrangements for keeping the Torkham border operational for 24 hour , it said the opening of the Pak-Afghan border will promote bilateral trade and economic activities between the countries.
The border has been opened on trial basis for twenty-four hours since 2nd of this month.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has said round the clock opening of Torkham border will boost the trade and economic activities.
The provincial chief executive had earlier announced said Prime Minister Imran Khan will formally inaugurate the border opening soon, Radio Pakistan reported.
