Minister for Local Government and Information, Sindh Nasir Hussain Shah inaugurated an online ERP Cloud Based System to monitor the sanitation and other arrangements in Malir District on Tuesday. Secretary Local Government Department Najam Ahmad Shah, Secretary Forest Department, Saeed Awan, Managing Director Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, Zubair Channa, ED Tariq Nizamani, Director District Malir Sabir Shah besides a large number of media representatives were present on the occasion. In his inaugural address, the LG Minister said that Sindh Solid Waste Management Board has been taking continuous steps to bring the standard of sanitation in line with international standards and is moving towards improvement. “Today’s event is also a link in the same chain.” Online ERP Cloud Based System (ERP Cloud Based System) will be able to monitor the cleanliness of vehicles and staff, dustbin, movement of vehicles on GTS, all matters in real time. The minister said that it is our priority to provide relief to the people by moving the organization towards the best through modern style and modern technology. MD Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, Zubair Channa while giving a briefing on the system said that SSWMB is doing front end collection in three districts and Malir district is the first district where we have introduced online system for all surveillance while other districts in Eastern and Southern as well. Introduce this system in a period of two months The entry and exit of garbage vehicles and staffers at Garbage Transfer Stations will be monitored through it. He said geofencing, mapping, garbage vehicle tracking, reporting on the destination, trips to dumping spots and tracking of dustbins will be maintained through this ERP system. Other facilities of the system include monitoring of the Complaint Management System, garbage transfer stations, weight of garbage and details of drivers. Biometric and facial attendance of employees can also be done. Garbage related issues and complaints will be forwarded to the concerned officers through this newly launched application.
