A man was killed and another was injured in separate incidents in the city. A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run incident at Super Highway. The deceased, was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he was identified as Naik Muhammad. The police are investigating the matter further. Separately, a man was injured by robbers over resistance on Wednesday. According to police, Wajid Ali, 35, son of Abdul Ghaffoor was wounded in a firing incident in Moinabad area in Malir. The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The incident occurred in the limits of Saudabad Police Station. The cops told that Ghafoor is a rickshaw driver, who was shot at by robbers. Ghafoor’s rickshaw was intercepted by armed men on a motorcycle and they opened fire at him when he resisted their mugging bid. The perpetrators took off with Rs25,000 cash, said the police.
