Old enmity claims two lives

Bannu—At least two persons including a shopkeeper were seriously wounded in firing of armed men over old rivalry. The security forces recovered huge cache of arms during search operation here on Saturday.
Police said that armed men of rival group opened indiscriminate fire at their opponents injured injuring two people identified as Muhammad Nawaz and a shopkeeper Khurshid Ahmed in Mandan area of Bannu.
The culprits including Marsheed and Noursheed escaped from the scene of the crime. Meanwhile, Frontier Constabulary (FC) men along with other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel conducted joint search operations in Narmi Khel, Takhti Khel, Baka Khel localities in Bannu.
During search operations huge quantity of arms including 29 Kalashnikovs, three heavy machine guns, six three not three guns, six pistols, three 12 bore guns, 78 magazines and 3112 bullets of different bores were recovered. However, no arrest could be made during the operation.—INP
