The Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has made a significant discovery of gas in Sujawal district, Sindh. With a flow rate of 1.24 MMSCFD, the gas was found in the Lower Goru Formation, as reported in OGDCL’s notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
Identified as tight gas, this discovery marks a promising addition to Pakistan’s hydrocarbon reserves.
OGDCL anticipates that the Nur West # 01 structure will open new avenues for energy exploration and contribute to the country’s energy security.
