Odho commends My Karachi exhibition, highlights improved security

Additional Inspector General of Police Javed Akhter Odho praised the Karachi Chamber for organizing the “My Karachi Exhibition” during his visit on Saturday. He assured full support for events promoting Karachi’s positive image. Odho noted significant improvements in law and order due to police efforts, despite challenges with street crime. Chairman Businessmen Group Zubair Motiwala emphasized the need for green energy and effective water treatment strategies to combat climate change. He highlighted the importance of preparing for future environmental challenges, stressing that untreated wastewater should not be dumped into the sea.

The second day of the 19th My Karachi Exhibition saw thousands of attendees, showcasing over 300 exhibitors. The event was well-received, with diplomats and the public appreciating the safe and secure environment. President KCCI Iftikhar Ahmed Sheikh lauded the response, emphasizing the exhibition’s role in promoting a positive image of Karachi. Security was tightly managed by law enforcement and private security personnel.
