Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, stated that the Objectives Resolution, passed on March 12, 1949, set the course for Pakistan’s future, establishing that the foundation of the country would rest on Islamic democracy and principles.
He expressed these thoughts while addressing the Diamond Jubilee ceremony of the Objectives Resolution, titled “Nishan-e-Liaquat.” Governor Tessori further emphasized that the Objectives Resolution guaranteed justice, equality, and the protection of fundamental rights, and its influence can still be observed in our collective national life.
He paid tribute to Quaid-e-MillatLiaquat Ali Khan on the occasion and highlighted that every individual in Pakistan enjoys religious, social, and cultural freedom.
