Provincial Transport Secretary Ahmed Javaid Qazi has praised the performance of Transport Department and Orange Line Train staff for surpassing the figure of 250,000 commuters.
Ahmed Javaid Qazi, in a statement on Wednesday, said that the Transport Department has achieved the set objectives at an impressive rate. He mentioned that the number of passengers is now higher than the estimates from a feasibility study conducted three years ago.
The train’s standard passenger facilities and reasonable fare packages have gained immense popularity among the public, he said.
