NSU students stressed on the particular versus of Holly Quran that
“And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age with you, say not to them [so much as], “uff,” and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word”. [Qur’aan 17:23]
Chief guest of the event, Mr. Shakeel, Head of Edhi Foundation, Islamabad shared his experiences at the Eidhi Old Age Homes.
He became very emotional when he was discussing those children who abandon their parents in old age. He further said that parents are the blessing of Allah, they should be treated with kind as parents do to the kids in their childhood.
