Youth urged to follow example of Quaid-e-Azam to excel in life
The Minister of State (MoS) for National Heritage & Culture Huzaifa Rehman has called upon the youth to strictly adhere to the principles laid down by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in order to enrich their life and achieve success in career.
He expressed these views while addressing as Chief Guest a seminar ‘Quaid-e-Azam aur Jadeed Qaumi Shaoor’ or ‘Quaid-e-Azam and Modern National Awareness’ organized by the Nazriya Pakistan Council (NPC) at the Aiwan-e-Quaid, Fatima Jinnah Park here on Wednesday on the eve of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s 149th birth anniversary (Born: Dec 25, 1876).
Chairman of the NPC Mian Muhammad Javed presided over the event while former Inspector Geneal of Police (IGP) and eminent writer & scholar Zulfiqar Ali Cheema was the keynote speaker on the occasion.
Former ED Lok Virsa and Pakistan’s noted folklorist, Uxi Mufti, Senior Vice Chairman of the NPC and Chairman & Editor-in-Chief of Pakistan Observer, Faisal Zahid Malik, Chairman of the Tehreek-e-Naujawanaan-e-Pakistan, Abdullah Hameed Gul, Chairman of the Positive Pakistan, Abid Iqbal Khari, Prof Dr Sher Ali, Waheed Sharif, Muhammad Daud Kaif, Amb Salahuddin Chaudhry, and writer and intellectual Naeem Fatima Alvi also spoke on the occasion and paid rich tributes to the great leader of the sub-continent who led an epic struggle against both the Hindus and the English and carved out a separate country on the map of the world for the Muslims of the subcontinent. Former Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad and Chairperson of the Taleem Network Sen Razina Alam Khan and Member of the Executive Committee of the NPC, Abdullah Yousaf were also among the noted guests on the occasion.
MoS also inaugurated a painting exhibition and a book festival related to the Pakistan Movement and the life and achievements of the Quaid-e-Azam and commended the organizers for introducing the Quaid and his associates’ lives to the youngsters present there. The Minister of State was of the view that today’s young generation has unfortunately forgotten the national heroes and their vision for an advancing and growing Pakistan.
