ISLAMABAD – The Pak ID mobile app of NADRA has simplified the biometric verification process for vehicle transfers in Islamabad.
Now, both sellers and buyers can complete their biometric verification from the comfort of their homes before visiting the excise office to finalise the vehicle transfer process.
This new system aims to streamline the vehicle transfer procedure, making it more convenient and efficient for residents of Islamabad.
With the introduction of biometric verification via the Pak ID app, the process has become much more accessible.
Step-By-Step Guide for Biometric Verification for Vehicle Transfer
Download Pak ID app on mobile phone
Register your account and get Log In
Go to Apply Digital Cards on home screen
Click ICT vehicles
A list of vehicles registered on your name in Islamabad will appear on screen
Click Transfer Now button after selecting the vehicle you want to sell
Click on Verify Applicant Facial
Select Back or Front Camera for photo
After capturing photo, click on Apply
Click Verify Applicant Fingerprint
Complete the biometric verification according to the given procedure
Later Applicant details will appear on screen
Later add CNIC of purchaser
Select category in Application Processing Executive
Click Submit button after entering complete details
After completing the applications, you need to navigate to Application section to get Tracking ID and PIN Code
Share Tracking ID and PIN Code with purchaser
The buyer will log in to Pak ID on mobile phone
Navigate to Government Services on home screen to select Vehicle Transfer
Add Tracking ID and PIN Code
Hit Get Details button
Vehicle Details will appear on Screen
After check details, the purchaser will complete photo and biometrics verification process
Click the Done Button
After this status will automatically update on seller’s end
Pay Now option will appear near the Tracking ID option if the application is approved
Pay the Fees
Dowload biometric receipt from ID Vault
Buyer will visit Excise office with the receipt and necessary documents for completing transfer of vehicle.
