The Ministry of National Food Security & Research, Government of Pakistan strongly rebuts the news on social media propagated by private blogs regarding the presence of Novel Corona Virus (2019-nCV) in chicken. The news warns against consuming chicken meat in the sixty days as 2019-nCV symptoms are appearing in chicken.
This post is fake, baseless, unfounded and scientifically incorrect. The Novel Corona Virus (2019-nCV) has not been reported in chickens so for.
The Ministry of National Food Security & Research, Government of Pakistan discourages this type of misleading propaganda that is affecting the consumption of chicken meat, a nutritious and wholesome food.
