Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday declared that the PDM, which had been engineering overthrow of a democratically-elected government, is disintegrated and has fallen apart under its own weight.
“On the other side, the government is stronger than before as the nation has full trust in the honest leadership of PM Imran Khan”.
The CM said the PDM leadership that bragged about toppling the government earlier is disentangled.
“This gang of political cronies has proved most unsuccessful and incapable of achieving the objectives,” the CM maintained and emphasised that no effort will be successful to revive the PDM as the nation has fully understood many faces of the rejected elements and is also abreast of their political jugglery.
Usman Buzdar said the nation has full confidence in the leadership of PM Imran Khan while the opposition has no political worth before the honesty and trustworthiness of PM Imran Khan.
He emphasised the PTI government has blocked all doors of corruption, loot and plunder, adding that politics was used for personal gains in the past.
“The past rulers weakened the country by corruptly using the resources,” he regretted and deplored the past rulers’ bank accounts continued to grow while people were yearning for basic needs.
They, even, took commissions in contracts and development projects and every day was started with a new scandal, the CM added.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar appealed to the masses to continue following corona SOPs to remain safe from the fourth wave of coronavirus.
The CM said the adoption of necessary precautions can save people from the fourth wave, adding that neglect and avoidance of SOPs can lead to an increase in corona cases.
God forbid, he hinted at the possibilities of smart lockdown if the ratio of positive cases is increased.
The citizens should continue following social distancing and use of facemasks to ensure safety from this virus, the CM concluded.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar visited the residence of Special Assistant to CM for Sports MPA Malik Umar Farooq in Dijkot, Faisalabad and condoled with him over the death of his father Haji Muhammad Mushtaq.
The CM extended sympathies to the bereaved family and offered Fateha for the departed soul.
Provincial Minister Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmad, Rana Shehbaz Ahmad MPA and others were also present.
