The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NIICVD) has dismissed all allegations of Dr Pervez Chaudhry, former head of surgery, as fabricated.
Dr. Pervez Chaudhry is no longer a part of NICVD after his contract expires, said the NICVD spokesperson. She said Dr. Pervez Chaudhry has made baseless allegations against the NICVD management for not extending the contract, which is not even one percent true, adding, why didn’t Dr. Pervez Chaudhry see these flaws in NICVD before? After not extending the contract, they are beginning to see the flaws of the institution, it is called malice in simple words that does not beautify a doctor.
The spokesperson went on that since Prof. Nadeem Qamar became the Executive Director of NICVD, the organization has grown exponentially, having only one NICVD in 2015, which has now become the world’s largest healthcare network with 28 hospitals. It includes the vision of Professor Nadeem Qamar and his tireless work“Dr. Pervez Chaudhry joined NICVD in 2018, but even before he joined NICVD, more than 4,000 cardiac surgeries were performed annually and the mortality rate had risen to 4%. Dr. Pervez Chaudhry is not the only doctor who came to NICVD from USA.

Dr. Asad Bilal Awan is a senior and experienced surgeon who has been made the Acting Head of Surgery Department.
Due to non-extension of contract, Dr. Pervez Chaudhry Kobla Jawaz should have held such a press conference and refrained from making allegations against the company.”
