ISLAMABAD – Good news for entrepreneur, as another golden opportunity lands here. New Zealand, the land of sweeping landscapes, and thriving cities, is now rolling out the red carpet for global investors.
To supercharge its economy, New Zealand launched new Business Investor Work Visa, dubbed “Golden Visa”, offering foreigners a fast track to live, work, and eventually settle permanently in the country.

Under this groundbreaking program, investors can gain residency in exchange for their cash. Those putting in NZD 1 million will enjoy a three-year Work-to-Residency path, while a NZD 2 million investment opens the door to instant residency within just one year!
The visa also allows investors to bring their spouse and dependent children along—but with a strict no-go on gambling, fast food, and tobacco ventures. Applicants must demonstrate serious business chops, such as running a company with at least five full-time employees or generating an annual turnover of NZD 1 million.
The new scheme complements New Zealand’s existing Active Investor Plus Visa, which targets ultra-high-net-worth investors committing NZD 5–10 million.
Applications officially open on November 24, 2025, and the government hopes this Golden Visa will make New Zealand the ultimate hotspot for global investors.
