New wave of anti-China propaganda and reality
FOR years, the unspoken truth about the West is that their veneer of objectivity has come off a long time ago.
While touting themselves as the epitome of trustworthiness and honesty, some organizations and media practitioners in the West have no qualms about propagating lies against China.
As the coordinated anti-China smear campaign is gaining steam, more intrepid with a conscience are calling it out despite the tremendous pressure to silence them.
Last week, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights issued a report stating China’s “arbitrary and discriminatory detention” of Uyghurs and other Muslims in the country’s Xinjiang region may constitute crimes against humanity.
The lengthy report said, “serious human rights violations have been committed” in Xinjiang “in the context of the Government’s application of counter-terrorism and counter-’extremism’ strategies.
“The extent of arbitrary and discriminatory detention of members of Uyghur and other predominantly Muslim groups may constitute international crimes, in particular crimes against humanity,” the UN report said.
She recommended the Chinese Government to take prompt steps to release all those detained in training centres, prisons or detentions facilities.
“There are credible indications of violations of reproductive rights through the coercive enforcement of family planning policies since 2017,” the report added.
The United States has accused China of genocide. The report about Xinjiang issue is a completely fabricated lie out of political motivations and its purpose definitely is to undermine China’s stability and to obstruct China’s development,” On August the 30th, Chinese media announced that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be held in Beijing on 16 October, 2022, a top priority for the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese people.
The conference will make a summary report on China’s development in the past five years and elect new leadership.
Recent wave of anti-China propaganda is a part of the campaign to sabotage the important event of CPC.
Especially since the General Secretary Xi Jinping stepped onto the stage of history, China has once again made historic achievements and undergone historic changes.
In the past decade, China’s total economic output has risen from ¥ 53.9 trillion to ¥114.4 trillion, accounting for more than 18% of the world’s economy.
China’s grain production has increased by nearly 70 million tons, and the total output remained above 650 million tons for past seven consecutive years, fully guaranteeing ample grain supply.
The propaganda is smearing about the Uighur Muslims re-education and the Uighurs.Contrary to Western sponsored propaganda, the Uyghur population grew from 10.17 million to 12.71 million, an increase of between 2010 and 2018, much higher than 2% growth of Han population and 22% growth of other minority population, which is a reflection of full respect of all rights for Uyghurs.
The living standard of the people has also increased significantly as more than ten million people have moved to new homes, achievement of full coverage of compulsory education and medical insurance coverage for over 99% population.
Rights and interests of all ethnic groups are fully protected and they are free to receive education, use ethnic languages and inherit their own traditional culture.
This is also borne out from the fact that Xinjiang has more than 24,000 mosques, which means a mosque for every 530 Muslims in the region.
This is in sharp contrast to a number of other countries including USA & India that do not allow Muslims to build mosques and maintain their religious identity.
The ecological environment has been greatly improved, blue skies and clouds, twinkling stars have become an everyday norm, the concept of green water and green mountains that is gold mountains and silver mountains is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
The people’s living standards have leapt to a new level, decisive victories have been made in poverty alleviation, the living standards of the poor masses have been significantly improved, and the appearance of poor areas has undergone historic changes, China is actively integrating into the international economy and maintaining friendly relations with other countries, and the international community is increasingly recognizing China as a responsible and peaceful world power.
China’s foreign policy meets the requirements of the international community for peace, progress, sustainable development and the requirements of building a community with a shared future for mankind which is in stark contrast to the cold war policy of some Western countries that continue to implement the Cold War policy with the consolidation of hegemony as the core.
For years, some Western countries have been making a big fuss about human right issues and smearing China.
If they are really concerned about Chinese rights, especially human rights in Xinjiang, why do they not speak out when terrorism hits Xinjiang and do not condemn acts that harm humanity?
On the contrary, some organizations that carry out violent terror attacks in Xinjiang have even received the support and protection from some of the Western forces which is entirely the result of double standards of human rights.
At the same time, the “China threat theory” view has also been constantly hyped, and some European think tanks have stigmatized China’s normal economic activities in Europe, smeared the “Belt and Road” initiative and claimed that China’s intervention undermined the unity and unity of EU member states and portrayed China as a real threat.
This rhetoric is in line with the overall containment strategy of the United States, which they attempt to use to subvert the Chinese regime.
As China’s good friend, good neighbour, good partner and good brother, the Pakistani people will continue to “fully support China” on issues involving China’s core interests.
We believe that the Chinese government will lead the Chinese people to create greater glory.
The experience of the Communist Party of China in governing will contribute to Pakistan’s national development and will benefit the world.
