ISLAMABAD – The federal government has announced a slight increase in petrol price while diesel rates were kept unchanged for first fortnight of June 2025.
The new fuel prices will come into effect from June 1 till 15 as the Pakistani government revises the petroleum rates fortnightly.

Per litre petrol price has been increased by Rs1, fixing the new rate at Rs253.63, while the diesel price remained unchanged at Rs254,64 per litre.
The development has rejected the previous reports claiming that petrol prices would drop by Rs0.60 to Rs1.00 per litre, reducing current rate of Rs252.63 to between Rs251.63 and Rs. 251.03. High-Speed Diesel (HSD) could see a Rs0.28 to Rs0.50 per litre decrease, bringing it down from Rs254.64 to between Rs254.36 and Rs254.14.
UAE Petrol Prices
Earlier in the day, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced prices for petrol and diesel for June 2025 without any major change.
The latest petrol and diesel prices will be applied from June 1, 2025, in the UAE amid decline in international oil prices.
The per litre price of Super 98 stood unchanged at Dh2.58 and Special 95 petrol will be available for Dh2.47 per litre without any change.
The price of E-Plus 91 petrol was also kept unchanged and it stood at Dh2.39 a litre in June 2025.
The UAE has revised down the diesel price to Dh2.45 a litre from current Dh2.52 in May.
