Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz says the steps proposed in the budget will accelerate economic activity and lead to open new vistas of employment.
In a tweet on Tuesday, he said presenting a tax free budget in the context of global recession and the country’s economic challenges is manifestation of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s pro-people approach.
The Minister said passage of the budget by a majority of 41 votes is clear evidence that the PTI and its allies are united under the leadership of Imran Khan.
He said the opposition made a failed attempt to spread disappointment among people by creating an environment of uncertainty and demonstrated the hollowness of their political thinking.
