The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the power tariff by 48 paisas on account of the costs of fuel adjustment for the month of August 2020.
According to NEPRA, consumer will pay an extra Rs5 billion on account of fuel adjustment in electricity bills of next month. Price hike will not be applicable on K-Electric users. The NEPRA also stated that electricity production cost for the month of August remained at Rs3.68 per unit.
