The Lahore police have arrested the nephew of Mansha Bomb, leader of Johar Town land mafia, after lodging an FIR against 15 people including Mansha Bomb, his four sons and nephew, and 15 other unidentified persons.
The Township Police have registered the case on charges of land grabbing, illegal constructions, interfering in the government’s affairs, and threatening the authorities with dire consequences. It has been learnt that Mansha Bomb’s sons went into hiding after the registration of the FIR.
The recently appointed Lahore CCPO vowed that no land grabbers group would be tolerated in the city. He said that police teams were conducting raids for the arrest of all the accused named in the FIR.
