Nawaz should not mention any personality to build narrative: Tarin

Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Chairman Jahangir Khan Tareen said that Nawaz Sharif should not have made a narrative of his party by naming any personality, and should not have mentioned the names of former chief justices. “Nawaz Sharif should not have mentioned the former army chief or the upcoming chief justice of Pakistan,” said Jahangir Khan Tarin while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Friday. He also suggested that Nawaz Sharif should return to the country. In his point of view, the elections were going to take place in the near future and also emphasized over conducting elections for the progress and development of the country.

“The elections are a must. I see them happening in the near future. They must be held and the new government should come for the next five years,” said Tarin, adding that the five-year government would make decisions to provide relief to the public.

He made it clear that they did not have any issue related to level playing field, saying that the IPP is a new party. When asked about his disqualification, Tarin said that the limit of his five-year disqualification and of Mr. Nawaz Sharif was over now. To another question about the support of the establishment, Tarin made it clear that they believed in the public support. JehangirTareen expressed his happiness over an important inclusion in the party and extended a warm welcome to Munazza Hassan. The IPP chairman said that all parties should have an equal opportunity in the elections, vowing that his party would make efforts for the betterment of the country.
