ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former three-time Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif summoned party meeting, the source close to him said on Saturday.

The sources said that the meeting would be held in Murree.

They said that Nawaz Sharif also summoned party senior leaders including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and others.

“The legal team of the PML-N will brief the party leadership about the Supreme Court verdicts,” said the sources, adding that the important decisions are expected in the party meeting.

It may be mentioned here that the PML-N leaders strongly reacted to the Supreme Court verdict on the reserved seats case.  The PML-N, after the verdict, lost its majority in the National Assembly, although its position in the Punjab Assembly remains strong.’

However, Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar said that they would gain 190 seats in the next few months after the Supreme Court verdict.
