Naval Chief chairs 51st BoG meeting at Bahria varsity

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf NI(M), T Bt,inhiscapacityasPro-Chancellor/ChairmanBoG,chairedthe51stBoardofGovernors (BoG) Meeting at Bahria University Head Office Islamabad.

ThesessionofBOGcommenced withadetailedbriefingtotheBoardon salientactivities of the University and developmental programs. The board was briefed regarding the accreditation of Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Islamabad, with PMDC and commencement ofc lasses from January 2025.The progress on development of Pakistan Maritime Science and Technology Park (PMSTP), which is asignatureinitiativeaimed at tapping and boosting economy potential was also discussed. The session further discussed the development and diversification in academic disciplines, and commencement of new program, Bahria University Hashoo School of Hospitality Management (BU – HSHM), focused on enhancing hospitality education.

He commended that the significant miles tonei satestament to the collective efforts, dedication,and unwavering commitment of BU’s management and faculty.

He further acknowledged that Bahira University in not only imparting quality education to the students but also enhancing its footprints in different domains and sectors.

He urged that special focus be given in developing skills like critical thinking, solution-oriented approach, research & development, innovation, problem-solving and professional grooming among the students.
