The National Commission for Interfaith Dialogue condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.
According to reports, the leaders of the National Commission for Inter-Religious Dialogue held a news conference in Lahore on the issue of desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden. The Chairman of the National Commission for Interfaith Dialogue, Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw, said that an attempt was made to destroy world peace.
The day was also suggested as Eid-ul-Azha.
We all are Pakistanis, we have to act with enthusiasm in such incidents so that the planning of the mischievous person cannot succeed.
Maulana Muhammad Asim Makhdoom, chairman of the All Masalik Ulema Board, said that the incident in Sweden is too little to be condemned.
This person should be brought to the status of a kafir who has defied the Qur’an. He said that the threats being given to minorities in Pakistan are very sad.
Sikh leader Sardar Kalyan Singh and Maulana Ashiq Hussain said that the enemies of peace are sabotaging peace by making religious insults. If the United Nations is an organization of living countries, then Sweden should be brought to court and bound.
The insolence of religious books should be stopped otherwise the third world war may break out in the name of religion.
