The martyred students paved the way for a safe and secure Pakistan with their blood and gave new courage to the nation. The APS teachers and students are the heroes of the nation; the CM maintained and added that 220 million Pakistanis express their complete solidarity with martyrs’ families on this day. The nation is paying its tributes to the martyrs and their sacrifices would be remembered till late, he said. Meanwhile, a delegation of expatriate Pakistanis called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office to apprise him about their problems. Vice-Chairman Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab Makhdoom Syed Tariq Mehmood-ul-Hassan and others were also present.

The CM assured to resolve overseas Pakistanis problems on priority adding that feasible proposals would be executed. The expatriates are an asset of the country and the PTI-led government has won their hearts by giving them the right to franchise, he added. Regrettably, expats’ problems were ignored in the past as the earlier governments bragged about its performance while delivering less. The opposition has, again, exposed itself by opposing the voting right to the overseas Pakistanis, he deplored. The overseas Pakistanis could access their Punjab related records with a click in Pakistan embassies, he concluded.
