Provincial Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Shah laid the foundation stone of Rs.2 billion Jauhar underpass at Johar Chowrangi. Advisor Law MurtazaWahab, CM coordinator Shahzad Memon were also present. Nasir Shah said that the underpass will be completed in a short period of time for better traffic flow and travel facility.
He said that one kilometer of this underpass project will cost Rs.2 billion. Media Talk: Talking to media NasirShah said that Imran Khan has destructive politics, when Shaheed Benazir was martyred, PPP never called for any attack.
He said that the PTI members announced the “Jail Bharu Tahreek” and are going around getting bails from court, while the leadership is hiding and the workers are being arrested. He said that even today Imran Khan talks about himself and his family and Imran Khan expressed his displeasure over the workers’ non-response even after the attack on him. He said that today need help Imran Khan from USA, he tells lies very well. In response to a question, he said that definitely contact has been made with Jamaat-e-Islami, but we have not made any contact with PTI.
He said that the mayor will be from Karachi and all the PPP workers are eligible for the mayor, Karachi people remember Murtaza Wahab today. PPP has not made any final decision for the mayor yet. He said that PTI members are very afraid from courts. He said that Saeed Ghani is our Jiyala, he speaks openly and very well, if those who are involved in terrorism are released on bail, and then it questioned be on courts. Nasir Shah said that he has respect for the judges of the Supreme Court, but questions must be raised on their recent decisions. He said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was hanged which was a judicial murder.
He added that Nawaz Sharif and his daughter along with former President Zardari and his sister were arrested but we have never done something like what PTI has done. He said that our leadership never asked to burn Jinnah House – Corps Commander. Nasir Shah said that Pakistan Army is our institution and powerful institution, those things were said against Army Chief and ISI Chief which India has been doing.
He said that if someone is arrested, we will make him vote and take oath. Nasir Shah said that if someone shows indifference with PTI, we should not be blamed, we were blamed during the election as well. No pressure is being put on PTI. He said that Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman is very respected, I have talked to him many times that the mayor will be the party who has the most votes.
