Naqvi visits Akhuwat University, hails mission of Dr Amjad Saqib

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday visited Akhuwat College and University in Mustafabad area of Kasur where Akhuwat Foundation CEO Dr Amjad Saqib briefed him about the project.

Addressing the students, CM Naqvi said they were Pakistanis and they should play their part for the progress of the country. He said Pakistan was making progress and soon it will register its name in the comity of developed nations. He told the students that Pakistan has abundance of natural resources and economy is gaining momentum during the last few months. The CM advised the students to focus on education and take part in extra-curricular activities as well. He urged the students to be polite and talk to each other and everyone with love and care. The CM praised the activities and mission of Akhuwat University and CEO Dr Amjad Saqib for spreading awareness and education among the students of lower class. Dr Amjad also addressed the students and briefed the participants about the mission and activities of the university. The CM visited library, mosque, lecture rooms and other departments. At the end of his visit, the CM also planted a sapling in the university. Moreover, Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the upgradation project of Mazar Bibi Pak Daman being completed in a record period of time. The Mazar Bibi Pak Daman complex has been extended. A golden latticework has been installed on the Mazar with 3 green domes, wooden arches and excellent floor tiles speak volumes of a high-quality construction work. Ulama-e-Karam, Provincial Ministers also participated in the inaugural ceremony of the upgradation project. A collective prayer for the well-being was offered after the inauguration of the Mazar Bibi Pak Daman upgradation project. Later, Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, Ulama-e-Karam and the Provincial Ministers visited the Mazar Bibi Pak Daman. They offered Fateha and prayed for the progress and integrity of the country. CM after visiting various sections of the Mazar, appreciated the high-quality construction work. Mohsin Naqvi embraced Nayar Ali Dada on designing the Mazar. CM also announced widening of the entry passage of the Mazar from the Empress Road. Mohsin Naqvi also conversed with the residents of the area present at the entrance of the shrine. The area residents and the pilgrims paid tributes to CM Mohsin Naqvi on the successful completion of the upgradation project. The pilgrims remarked that Mohsin Naqvi has duly fulfilled his religious obligation with regard to timely construction of the Mazar Bibi Pak Daman. CM while talking with the media after the inaugurating of the upgradation project of Mazar Bibi Pak Daman stated that by the Grace of Allah Almighty, construction work of Mazar Bibi Pak Daman has been completed and will be opened for the pilgrims after the Maghrib prayer. C&W Department has worked day and night on the upgradation project of Mazar Bibi Pak Daman.
