Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Sunday visited the residence of Captain Muhammad Ali Qureshi in Lahore and offered their condolences to his family members over his death.

Both prayed to The Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul eternal peace. Speaking on the occasion, Bugti said that Captain Qureshi had laid down his life while defending the motherland. He said that the sacrifices given by the martyrs in war against militancy would not go in vain.

He vowed to hound the terrorists in order to eliminate them. “These are not only the security forces, which are fighting the war, but the entire nation is pitted against terrorists,” Balochistan CM said, adding, “The government will not leave families of the martyrs alone.”

Later Naqvi and Bugti went to the Cavalry Ground’s cemetery where they offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath at the grave of the martyred Pakistan Army captain. A smartly tuned army contingent, on the occasion, saluted the grave.
