Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi has raised questions over financial affairs of Sindhgovernment. “Today I have to say with regret. The first quarter is over and the month of November has arrived. The first quarter report has not come yet. This report was very important to us. He inquired as to how much work has been done on the budgeted amount or not. The opposition leader said the tradition persists that the government has not even submitted an annual report. Naqvi said the financial affairs of the Sindh government are so bad. The chief minister has refused to give report to the Public Accounts Committee. “Where is the transparency and food governance in the government? he said, adding, in 12 years they have not been able to fix their system. They are claimants of democracy but look at how much they believe in democracy, Firdous Shamim Naqvi asserted. “They demand reports in the National Assembly and the Punjab Assembly. But there is no report in Sindh.” He accepted that people are worried about inflation but the positive aspects of the economy are emerging. “Corona’s crisis is not over yet. At present Pakistan is ideal for other countries in this regard.”
