Federal Minister for Interior MohsinNaqvi has directed the authorities concerned for launching development work in the those sectors of the federal capital which are lying undeveloped for decades.
He stated this while chairing a three-hour long meeting during his visit to CDA Headquarters on Wednesday in which many important decisions were made.
Earlier upon arrival at CDA Headquarters, Interior Minister was welcomed by Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
MohsinNaqvi said that it would be grave injustice to the people if they were not given possession despite paying all charges. He said that the comprehensive strategy of giving plots to these citizens should be finalized soon.
He also directed digitization of land records to solve land issues in Islamabad. In this regard, CDA officials also tasked to computerize the land records in six months.
The Interior Minister said that an efficient one-window system will be established in the CDA for the convenience of the people so that the CDA can ensure the provision of services without delay and there is no hassle of waiting.
He said directed that the maximum services should be provided online to the citizens and the smart app should be activated within three months. Interior Minister also directed to ensure the round the clock availability of call center facility for the facilitation of the masses.
MohsinNaqvi stressed that all out efforts should be made for the beautification of Islamabad. He directed that construction of cycling tack and walking tracks on the green belt should also be completed soon. In this regard, he tasked the concerned wing of CDA to present a plan for landscaping and beautifying the federal capital. He said that the diplomatic enclave must be made the most beautiful part of ??the city and directed that landscaping in the diplomatic enclave should be completed in 3 months.
Keeping in view the growing population, the Interior Minister also tasked the CDA to establish new sectors in the capital. He reiterated that no further delay in possession of the non developed sectors will be tolerated. Interior Minister also planted a sapling in the lawn of CDA.
Interior Secretary Khurram Ali Agha, IG Islamabad Police Ali NasirRizvi, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon, Director Admin ICT and all members of CDA attended the meeting.
