Naimal Khawar Slams Body Shaming Comments On Social Media

Former Pakistani actress and Hamza Ali Abbasi’s wife, Naimal Khawar, has criticized social media users for commenting on women’s bodies and speculating about their personal lives based on changes in their appearance.

The controversy began after Naimal shared pictures from an event on her social media account. The images were subsequently reposted by several social media pages, with some users speculating that she might be pregnant.

Responding to the speculation, Naimal addressed the issue through an Instagram Story, calling out those who freely comment on women’s bodies.

Her remarks have sparked discussion on social media about body shaming, personal boundaries and the pressure women face over their physical appearance.

“It is surprising that people feel no hesitation when commenting on women’s bodies. Yes, my weight may have changed,” she wrote.

Naimal said it was also possible that she no longer looked the way she did five years ago, pointing out that motherhood can bring significant physical and emotional changes.

“Becoming a mother changes you in ways you cannot even imagine,” she said.

She further explained that several factors can contribute to changes in a woman’s body, including age, hormones, mental stress, health, lifestyle and pregnancy.

However, Naimal stressed that none of these circumstances gives people the right to publicly criticize or comment on a woman’s body or weight.
