NAI: 50 percent of visual media stopped operation in past year

Afghanistan’s independent media support agency “NAI” says that hundreds of journalists and media workers have lost their jobs in the past year and 50 percent of visual media, 48 percent of audio, all print media and 80 percent of news agencies and online media have stopped their activities.

NAI said in his annual report that in 2022, compared to 2021, incidents of violence against journalists have decreased by 17 percent.
