The national assembly on Monday totally failed to take up a single agenda items, which were 22 total and spend all the times over targeting each other by opposition and ruling parties.
Even the question hour was also not taken where two times quorum was pointed out, where the gov-ernment remained successful while in second time the government unable to complete the forum and the speaker was left with no option but to adjourn the House till today (Tuesday) at 11 am.
As Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar an-nounced for question-hour, PML-N leader Khawaja Asif stand on his seat and raised the issue of CJ Gilgit Baltistan statement, in which he claimed that former PM Nawaz Sharif and his daughter was not given bail till completion of 2018 general election. He said Maryam Nawaz was kept in prison for which she committed no crime.
He demanded of the House to discuss the issue and take appropriate measures to ensure respect and dignity of Parlia-ment. He also claimed that Nawaz Sharif was sen-tenced in false cases.
Responding to points raised by PML-N Leader Khawaja Asif, Minister for Communication Murad Saeed said the PTI government will not give NRO to anyone and will keep raising issue of corruption committed by the previous rulers.
He said that the previous ruling party was known for attacking judi-ciary and maligning state institutions to hide corrup-tion of its leadership.
