Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) Managing Director Fakhrul Islam Dogar has said that modern technology is being utilised for enhancing efficiency and effective monitoring of the field staff to improve sanitation work in the City.
He said that with the help of a private IT company, an online app for administrative matters including paperless working system and procurement is being developed in the company which will significantly increase efficiency of the company.
On the occasion, the private IT company also briefed the company officials on the mobile app and enterprise resource planning system.
The MWMC MD said that In order to harmonize and meet the public expectations, the company is being shifted to a modern system.
Through the mobile app, citizens can lodge any complaint regarding sanitation online, on which the concerned officer and supervisor will be bound to take immediate action.
Through the modern system, all wings of the MWMC will be connected online and all stakeholders will be online on all office and field matters. The new system was also discussed in detail between the officials of IT Company and the MWMC.
Fakhrul Islam Dogar said that the system will be made online after completion of all rules and regulations.
