Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof. Dr. Sardar Muhammad Al-freed Zafar has said that Christmas is a day to renew the pledge to promote mutual love, brotherhood, tolerance and social justice. He added that the teachings of Jesus are a beacon for all humanity. He further said that the Punjab Government has honored Christians in official documents by issuing a notification to write them “Masih” instead of Christian and has fulfilled their long standing demand.
These views were expressed by Prof. Al-freed Zafar and ED PINS Prof. Khalid Mahmood on a 250-pound Christmas cake-cutting ceremony at LGH said that we all appreciate the services of the Christian community in building and developing the beloved homeland and in the struggle for the establishment of Pakistan. They said that the services of the Christian brothers, especially in the field of education and health, have not been hidden from anyone, even in the fields of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and Judiciary. These brothers have always participated in the field of medical, especially in the nursing community, they said. Today we have to pay tribute to all those Christian brothers who are devoting their energies to the services of the country and the nation.
