Murderer of police constable was killed in a police encounter here on Friday. According to details, a three-member gang of robbers were engaged in looting citizens when DSP Muridke Circle Malik TahirSiddique and SHO SaddarMuridkeZaheerAlam Shah along with heavy contingent of police reached the scene. An exchange of fire took place in which notorious robber Abid alias BillaDakoo was killed while his two accomplices managed to escape. The killed robber had martyred police constable Bilal three days earlier and was also wanted in various serious criminal cases. A man was crushed to death by an over speeding car here on Friday. The car driver sped the scene of accident. According to details, a reckless driven car ran over a pedestrian crossing road in Kahna area of Lahore.
As a result of accident, the citizen was killed on the spot and car driver sped the scene.
The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and police after registering a case against the car driver at large started raids for his arrest.
