Murad approves alignment of 9-km Ghotki-Kandhkot bridge

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, in consultation with all the relevant experts, and local approved the alignment of Ghotki-Kadhkot bridge located in 60 kilometers upstream of Sukkur Barrage. The bridge lies within the coordinates of 28 to 4 degree in the North and 69 to 12 and 69 to 15 degree in East N 28 degree. It is located 60 kilometers downstream of Guddu Barrage.
He took this decision on Thursday while presiding over a high-level joint meeting of Irrigation, water experts, consultants, woks department engineers and stakeholders/locals of Kandhkot-Kashmore district here at CM House.—INP
