Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) held a grand Youth Convention at Bagh-e-Mustafa Ground, Hyderabad, where a large number of students from educational institutions and the technology sector participated. The convention focused on IT, e-commerce, and self-reliance, with video segments offering guidance on these fields, and stalls set up by leading IT companies and universities.

Addressing the enthusiastic youth, MQM Pakistan Chairman Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said, “Today, the country’s most valuable and unbeatable asset is here, standing with determination. Bringing youth together is not just a political, but a national necessity.” He congratulated Hyderabad on its new university and urged the youth to stand on the right side of history and prepare for the changing world.

Dr. Siddiqui emphasized the importance of educating girls to make them beneficial to the nation and stated, “Tonight feels like the dawn of a revolution in the country.” Senior leader and Member of National Assembly Syed Mustafa Kamal noted that MQM-P has provided the formula for self-reliance to the youth to defeat the quota system. “Now, boys and girls, regardless of background, can earn thousands of dollars from home,” he said, adding that MQM remains the only party representing the youth. Kamal called the gathering a beacon of hope for all of Pakistan and advocated for the creation of new administrative provinces to better manage resources.

Dr. Farooq Sattar, a senior leader and MNA, praised the youth of Hyderabad for their steadfast support of MQM and for standing against the economic oppression caused by the quota system. He remarked, “The energy of the youth in Mustafa Ground will soon ignite an economic revolution in the country.” Sattar stressed the need for self-reliance and called for the promotion of local products through modern technology, ensuring that Hyderabad’s unique offerings reach global markets. He added, “The world’s markets are waiting for you, and it won’t be long before Karachi and Hyderabad work together to save and build this nation.”

The event saw the attendance of senior leaders including Nasreen Jalil, Anis Ahmed Qaimkhani, members of the central committee, elected representatives, and a large crowd of supporters.
