ISLAMABAD – The National Highways (NH) has announced an increase in toll taxes on highways and motorways across the country.
A revised toll notification has been issued, specifying new rates for various vehicles.
According to the notification, tolls on national highways will now be Rs100 for cars, Rs200 for vans, Rs300 for buses, Rs350 for two- and three-axle trucks, and Rs700 for larger trucks.
New Toll Taxes on Motorways
Islamabad to Peshawar: The toll tax has surged to Rs700 for cars, Rs1,050 for 12-seater vans, Rs2,050 for buses, Rs2,650 for two- and three-axle trucks, and Rs3,300 for large trucks.
Lahore to Abdul Hakim (M-3): Rs1,000 for cars, Rs1,500 for 12-seater vans, Rs2,150 for mini buses or costers.
M-4 Motorway: Rs1,300 for cars, Rs1,950 for 12-seater vans, Rs2,850 for mini buses, Rs3,950 for buses, and Rs6,400 for large trucks.
M-5 Motorway: Rs1,500 for cars, Rs2,150 for vans, Rs3,150 for mini buses, and Rs7,150 for large trucks.
E-35 Highway: Rs350 for cars, Rs550 for vans, Rs750 for mini buses, and Rs1,100 for buses.
The NHA stated that the revised tolls aim to support maintenance and development of the national highway network, ensuring safer and smoother travel for motorists.
