MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Company B.V. has installed a state-of-the-art water filtration plant for the suburban residents of Islamabad. Clean drinking water is a nation-wide issue, especially in the monsoon season when water-borne diseases are at their peak.
A simple ceremony was held at the location where Dr. Gabor Vakarcs, MD/CEO MOL Pakistan and Ali Murtaza Abbas, MOL Group Regional Vice President for Middle East, Africa & Pakistan along with other senior officials formally inaugurated the plant. At the inauguration, Dr. Vakarcs said, “Water scarcity and provision of clean drinking water to the community of Islamabad has become an enormous challenge for the local administration.
Under such circumstances, MOL Pakistan decided to come up with a solution to provide clean drinking water through a well-maintained filtration unit to the residents of this area”. While talking to the local community, Ali Murtaza Abbas said, “MOL Group is a responsible corporate entity that never compromises over the health and safety of the residents of its operational areas, wherever it operates globally.
