Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Acting Minister of Water and Energy, met with representative of ZNCC and a number of Afghan officials to discuss problems and restarting remaining transmission of electricity wire project from Ghazni to Kandahar and the second phase of Kajaki Dam electricity supply project.
According to BNA, in this meeting, the representa-tive of the contractor company and the officials of Da Afghan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) extend info in regards of project’s problem and progress of the mentioned projects and asked for cooperation of leadership of Ministry.
Minister of Water and Energy, after listening their problems and demands, said that a special commit-tee would be formed to monitor and evaluate pro-gress of projects.
Indicating importance of these projects, said “We are paying efforts to overcome the existing prob-lems as soon as possible and restart remaining tasks of these projects.— BNA
