Modern technology being used for expats’ complaints: OPC

Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab Commissioner Passand Khan Buledi chaired a meeting reviewing the overall performance of the dealing officers and the commission which was attended by directors and dealing officers of Overseas Pakistanis Commission.
Overseas Pakistanis are our true ambassadors and expeditious disposal of their complaints and problems is our topmost priority. All the dealing officers must ensure the speedy disposal of the complaints of overseas Pakistanis, said the commissioner. The main purpose of the meeting was to review the performance of dealing officers and the steps taken by them to ensure resolution of the complaints
Passand Khan Buledi said that we are utilizing all available resources as well technological advancements are being introduced to solve the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis. As per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the directions passed by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and chief secretary, the performance of the commission has improved.
Initiatives like installment of complaints and suggestions box at the main gate, the establishment of NADRA facilitation desk at OPC, monthly review meetings are attempt to improve the work efficiency and redress the genuine grievances of overseas Pakistanis.
He gave instructions to dealing officers that they should deal with complainants politely and make themselves available for them and leave no stone unturned in resolving their issues. He required all the participants to fully contribute towards the betterment of OPC as high hopes have been pitched for the commission. All dealing officers also briefed the chair regarding their performance and issues faced by them.
