A seminar on Defence Day titled: “Role of Women in the Pace Development” was organised by in collaboration with District Women Peace Forum.
National songs and dramas were presented on the occasion to mark the day and pay homage to the martyrs.
MNS University of Agriculture Multan Prof Dr Asif Ali and MPA Sabeen Gul were the chief guest at the seminar.
In his speech Prof Dr Asif said that unprecedented sacrifices were rendered for achieving this homeland and still the nation is ready to sacrifice everything for its development and existence.
“I salute to those mothers who born the brave soldiers for this homeland. Young Pakistanis are our future therefore they should work hard with full devotion and discipline to serve the nation and country.”
MS Sabeen Gul said the role of women is also very impressive in the prosperity of this country and without their involvement, the country cannot move forward.
“I really appreciate those women who are our pride while working with Pak Army as well as in other departments.We should tolerate each other if we want to excel as a successful nation.”
