Member National Assembly DG Khan Khawaja Sheraz Mehmood in his statement thanked Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on the announcement to make Taunsa Sharif a district adding that CM Pervaiz Elahi fulfilled his promise by announcing to make Taunsa a district and the people of Taunsa are also grateful as well as indebted to CM Pervaiz Elahi.
Khawaja Sheraz Mehmood said that the noti-fication of four districts has been issued and a delay in the issuance of the notification of Taunsa is a matter of great concern. He stated that Deputy Commissioners have also been appointed in four districts except Taunsa.
He stated that the people of Taunsa are facing unrest and anxiety over the non-issuance of Taunsa district notification. The people are perturbed as despite the announcement how come the notification could not be issued and a severe public reaction is surfacing over the non-issuance of the notification. Khawaja Sheraz Mehmood underscored that it is the earnest demand of the people of Taunsa to issue the notification of district Taunsa at the earliest adding that all public circles are fully endorsing the issuance of district Taunsa notification. He urged that the impediments being created in the issuance of the notification of district Taunsa should be removed adding that those creating obstacles in the establishment of the Taunsa district are in fact doing enmity with the people.
Khawaja Sheraz Mehmood further stated that the people of Taunsa are awaiting the CM Punjab for the early issuance of the notification of district Taunsa and tehsil Wahwa.
