ISLAMABAD – Senator Faisal Vawda said that apologizing is not a sin but there needs to be a mistake to apologize for.
Vawda said that he would comply with whatever decision the court makes. He mentioned that the court has just heard Mustafa Kamal’s case, and his own case would be heard after his case.
The senator expressed these words while talking to the reporters in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, he appeared before the top court bench seized with the hearing of a contempt case against him and MQM-P leader Mustafa Kamal.
He reiterated his commitment to abide by the court’s decision. Vawda referenced a letter in his press conference, saying he always respected the Chief Justice and his bench. He mentioned discussing two judges during the press conference and expressed his desire to see the judiciary’s esteem rise from the 140th rank to the top.
Furthermore, Faisal Vawda highlighted that if the justice system improved, Pakistan would prosper. He said that his press conference led to trolling by PTI members and comments from Maulana Sahib. Despite this, he maintained respect for the courts and pointed out that holding dual citizenship is not against the law for judges.
