Acting Principal Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Ms. Asma Taj has said that the mission of the SIMS/Services Hospital is to promote quality healthcare/medical education and training.
She was speaking after being entrusted the charge of Acting Principal by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farooq Afzal, Principal Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS). A formal official order has also been issues in this regard on Thursday.
Asma Taj said that the education and training which was being provided will be further improved under the leadership of Principal Prof. Farooq Afzal. She said that every effort would be made to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to her by Principal SIMS and she would carry out her duties with full professional dedication and hard work, adding that the teachers of the College of Nursing will perform their duties as a team which will not only raise the standard of nursing education in the college but also brighten the name of Services Hospital in the field of Nursing.
She said that a schedule has been set up to impart lectures on seasonal and infectious diseases along with education in order to improve the skills of nursing students so that they can be aware of diseases, prevention and modern methods of treatment.
